Help answer the question about children books

Where can I find 3D children's books with glasses for sale?
Hi,
I teach elementary school and lucked into finding a few books on various topics like space and dinosaurs and my children absolutely love reading them. Unfortunately I can't find anyone that sells more of them. Any idea where I can find some more? Thanks for any help.
Looking for books illustrated in 3D only.

Some research suggests that sexual orientation may be caused or at least influenced by hormonal levels in the uterus before birth. Some other research suggests that the same genetic pattern that causes women to be unusually fertile also causes some of their male relatives to be homosexual. IOW, there may not be a single gene that causes people to be gay, bisexual or straight. Personally I believe that human sexuality and emotion is far too complex to be attributable to one simple cause.

Your friend who you say "chose" to be gay is almost certainly bisexual and equally attracted to both men and women, and therefore **could** choose to be with someone of either the opposite sex or the same sex. A lot of people, OTOH, are very clearly attracted to one gender but not the other and did not consciously and deliberately make a choice about that. Could YOU as a straight man CHOOSE to be in an intimate romantic and sexual relationship with another man and find it satisfying and preferable to being with a woman? And if not, why not?

As to your other question, I'm not aware of any place where the school district teaches 5 year olds about "gay marriage" any more than they would teach children about "straight marriage". Yes there are storybooks for young children that feature gay or lesbian characters — just as there are many, many, many more storybooks featuring heterosexual characters. We've all grown up on Snow White and Prince Charming, or Cinderella and her Prince Charming (hopefully not the same prince LOL!), or Beauty and the Beast, or Sleeping Beauty and yet another Prince Charming. Nobody accuses anybody of "teaching straight marriage" to children when these stories are read to 5 year olds — but just let some kindergarten teacher dare to read "King and King" to her class and suddenly everyone's up in arms about how the kids are being taught "gay marriage". What's up with that?

If 5 year olds are to be taught anything about sexual orientation in school, it should be simply that there are lots of different kinds of people and families in the world, and that its not nice to make fun of people just because their family is different. There are families with a mommy and a daddy, and some with 2 daddies, and some with 2 mommies — and some with just a mommy, or just a daddy. The point is there are children living in all of these different family settings — and so children need to learn tolerance if we're all going to get along.

As for why we shouldn't live SEPARATELY — what would you suggest? Quarantine all the queers into separate ghettos or something? Segregation isn't the answer. TOLERANCE and MUTUAL RESPECT are the answer.

Edit — if you're going to teach kids about straight marriage, then of course they have to be told that same-sex marriage is also a possibility. Its not a question of "promoting" either one or the other, its simply a matter of providing information. It won't turn straight kids gay to learn that there are some men who love and want to marry a man and some women who love and want to marry a woman, any more than it will turn gay or lesbian kids straight to learn that most men love and want to marry a woman and most women love and want to marry a man. At best it might help them be a little more tolerant.

And I don't know what isolated little lily-white world you live in, but in my world, blacks and whites (and Asians and Hispanics and every other group) live in proximity to one another — and IN PEACE, I might add. Why do you imagine that blacks and whites live separately or ought to live separately??
